Madison, WI Student Union Wedding | Hannah + Zak

My dearest sister Hannah and her soul mate Zak said I do this summer. It was a true celebration of their love and a special one for us all to remember. Family traveled in from all over the states, including family from Oklahoma, California, Missouri, Colorado, and even Germany! //

The weekend was full of non-stop celebrations. It started with a lovely dinner and drinks hosted by Zak’s parents at Madison’s famous, The Great Dane, which was then followed by drinks, dancing and live music on the lake at UW-Madison Memorial Union Terrace. Spending time together doing some of Hannah and Zak’s favorite things in Madison was the perfect way to kick off their special weekend.

Saturday we celebrated their love with ((SERIOUSLY)) the most beautiful ceremony I have ever attended and witnessed. It was even more special to be a part of it all as her maid-of-honor. With words and readings more beautiful than I have ever heard and vows more special than you can imagine, Hannah and Zak promised their forever to each other and become one with all their loved ones looking on.//

Over eight years of friendship, travels, love, and endless memories have shaped their love story and we all have been so grateful to be witnesses along their journey. I feel so grateful to see my best friend, my sister, fall in love with someone who not only is her best friend, but someone who supports her always, makes her smile and enjoys adventures just as much as she does. They amaze with me with their constant hard work, dedication for each other and their passions. Their never ending love and companionship is inspiring to myself and everyone they meet.

I can’t wait to watch these two grow more in love, chase their dreams, and one day start a family of their own.
