The smell of baked goods, fresh hung garland and a Christmas tree, homemade soups, wool socks, cozy sweaters, cuddle time on the couch, and holiday decor is everywhere and, oh my goodness am I excited for this holiday season to be in full swing. Looking forward to the time to relax, really check out, spend time with family, breathe, travel and reflect on the goodness of the past year.//
Apple pie is a holiday favorite of mine and as I try and master my baking skills at Apple Crisp and Apple Pie, I can’t help but think back to this fabulous Apple Affair styled shoot I photographed for Woven & Wed and the ladies of Collected Rentals . It was a true ‘Apple Affair’ and a great tribute to the incredible Fall weather we have here in Minnesota. The wildly talented and dear friend of mine, Britt of Woven & Wed, envisioned a fall celebration with a whimsical feel, set in a local orchard. With the use of the bright colors, mint and apple red, the shoot had a very fresh and natural feel. The ladies of Collected Rentals added their special touch of rustic elegant with wooden tables, chairs and crates. It was an all around blast to create, style and dream with these ladies, and I am so honored they invited me along to help it all come to life!//
Enjoy the goodness from this day and make sure to hop on over to Woven & Wed’s blog and The Sweetest Occasion’s for my very FIRST PHOTO FEATURE!!! Thank you Britt, Mari, and Marci, so grateful for your talent and our new friendship!//
